Community consultation
The Trustees instructed the City of Belmont to lead a comprehensive community consultation with the aim to understand the community’s aspirations for the ‘recreational use’ of Belmont Trust. These aspirations will be used to inform a strategy that is financially affordable and sustainable into the future.
The goals of the engagement include:
Building the community’s connection to the Belmont Trust land;
Ensuring future uses respect the significance of the site;
Support the Trustees to make informed decisions about the optimal community benefit from this land.
